Experience Highlights

Chaney is the President & Founder of Leveraged Restructuring, LLC. He has 19 years of professional experience, spanning a variety of industries and functions and comprised of both operational improvement and strategic leadership roles. He is currently the Interim President & CEO of Neucel Specialty Cellulose and the Chairman of Rapid Rack Industries and Bomar Industries. He has led turnarounds of several other companies for private equity firms, bank workout groups, and distressed debt funds, with a particular focus on midmarket, industrial products companies.

Before founding Leveraged Restructuring, Chaney held a series of increasingly responsible line management jobs. Chaney was Vice President, Supply Chain for Florida Power & Light (FPL), President and CEO of Aladdin Industries ($100MM consumer products company) and within General Electric, President & GM of Midwest Electric (a $60MM electrical equipment subsidiary of GE Industrial Systems), Plant Manager of the Austintown Products Plant in GE Lighting, and Manager of Corporate Business Development in GE Corporate. Prior to joining GE, Chaney was a strategic consultant and case leader with the Boston Consulting Group (BCG), participating in and leading studies in the computer, automotive, and telecommunications industries. Before BCG, Chaney went through the Manufacturing Management Program (MMP) at GE in a variety of roles and businesses. Chaney started his career as a Computer Design Engineer at Digital Equipment Corporation.
