Experience Highlights
Jodi Kahn serves as President of iVillage, the essential digital brand for women. In her role, Kahn is responsible for the strategic business operations of iVillage and also iVillage UK, Astrology.com, GardenWeb, Lifegoesstrong.com, Petside.com and DinnerTool.com. Kahn joined iVillage in the fall of 2008 as Executive Vice President. Under her leadership she reengineered the entire site and successfully led the relaunch of all eight verticals including, Entertainment, Pregnancy & Parenting, Food, Beauty & Style, Health, Home & Garden, Community and Astrology, and in early 2011, she continued to lead iVillage's international expansion with the launch of iVillage Canada (www.ivillage.ca). She is also responsible for building iVillage's extensive research and insight capabilities, including the creation of its “Listening Platform” – which mines daily conversations among women and reveals behavior, trends and brand preferences. Under her leadership, her team created iVillage's video and mobile strategy and launched the “iVillage App Network.” Kahn is credited for igniting iVillage's enormously popular community challenges, which galvanizes hundreds of thousands of women across the country around health and wellness, education and finance, and extending into national partnerships including the White House.
Before joining iVillage, Kahn was President, Global Digital Media for Readers Digest Association (RDA), Inc., where she led allrecipes.com and built digital businesses across the company. Prior to that, Kahn spent 16 years at Time Inc., where she held a number of senior-level positions in consumer marketing and business management. During her tenure at Time, Kahn ran Time for Kids, the in-school magazine, and was a vice president at Time Interactive, where she led the integration for the AOL merger. Prior to Time, Kahn worked in marketing at Sony/Columbia House. She began her career as a media planner at Wunderman Worldwide, part of Young & Rubicam.
Kahn is a board member of Sprout, the children’s cable network partly owned by NBCUniversal, and also sits on the University of Oregon Library Council. She is a member of Step Up Women’s Network mentoring program, a non-profit dedicated to advancing women and girls; as well as Citizen Schools, a non-profit organization that seeks to expand the learning day for children in low-income communities across the country. She resides in New York City with her husband and two children.

"Water.org is a natural fit between my interest in improving lives and opportunities for women and girls and utilizing technology to connect people and build sustainable solutions for safe water and adequate sanitation." My focus will be on helping Water.org mobilizing a movement to drastically increase awareness of this basic need.
