Keith Quinn served on the board of H2O Africa which was founded in connection with producing the documentary RUNNING THE SAHARA. In 2009, H2O Africa merged with Water Partners, with co-founders Matt Damon and Gary White teaming to form Water.org. Keith Quinn was invited to join the board of Water.org as part of this merger.
Professionally, Keith is a seasoned entertainment & media executive with leadership roles in both mature and start-up businesses. His track record combines the creative and business aspects of development, production, distribution and programming of content for film, TV and digital media, with revenue-generation and P&L responsibility.
Currently, Keith is a sought-after advisor to established and start-up media companies in the following sectors: Creative development, content financing & production, sales to Cable/Pay/SVOD channels, programming strategy, over-the-top distribution, digital channel strategy, transmedia extensions, and television over internet protocol. Advisees include Illumination Entertainment, Redbox Instant, Redbox, Zodiak Media, Fourth Wall Studios, Philo, Kumo, Structured Data Intelligence, Chill, Digital Theatre, Actual Reality, and Showtime. He also holds membership in Writers Guild of America.
Keith’s past experience highlights include: Leading Paramount Pictures digital content financing, production and distribution; Building Agility Studios channel businesses on YouTube that grew to over 12 million views/month, as co-founder and Chief Creative Officer of the company; Launching innovative multi-platform productions for LivePlanet with partners like HBO (Project Greenlight), ABC (The Runner; Push Nevada), and Microsoft (Fan Club; Race to E3); Managing development and production of digital, film (Producer: Running the Sahara) and television projects (HBO, ESPN, Showtime, Spike, MTV, A&E, E!, and NBC) for LivePlanet; and extending Mark Burnett’s business activities in sponsorship, and new media distribution. He also built new teams and departments for WPP portfolio companies in advertising, marketing strategy and public relations, specializing in the entertainment, technology.
Keith has worked as a producer and executive with talents such as: Matt Damon, Ben Affleck, Ben Stiller, Kevin Costner, Spike Jonze, R.J. Cutler, Mark Burnett, Josh Lieb, Jon Chu, James Moll and Ken Marino.
In Philanthropy, in addition to serving on the board of Water.org, Keith has received recognition from ONEXONE, a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of children, and is on Plimouth Plantation’s Board of Advisors.
A Boston area native and Red Sox fan, Keith holds an MBA from Kellogg at Northwestern, and an A.B. from Harvard, where he was on the Board of Editors of The Harvard Lampoon. He lives in Los Angeles with his wife and three children.
