Abu Aslam

Aslam has worked in the development sector across Bangladesh and abroad for more than 12 years. His major contributions are to the extreme poor in urban and rural settings. He brings diverse experiences in the field of microfinance, disaster relief, environment and climate change, livelihood development, and poverty reduction through ultra-poor graduation programs where water, sanitation, health and hygiene were major components. One of his specialties is capacity building with partner organizations.

Prior to joining Water.org, Aslam worked with one of the largest microfinance institutions in the world, BRAC Bangladesh. He also spent a year as a consultant with Fonkoze in Haiti as a technical support manager.
