Gina is deeply committed to social justice and champions evidence-based change. As WaterEquity Manager, she supports Water.org's social impact investment effort, which uses investment capital to increase access to safe water and sanitation. Previously, Gina served as a member of Water.org's monitoring & evaluation and executive support teams. Prior to Water.org, Gina worked to alleviate poverty at Partners In Health and Landesa.

Gina holds a Master of Public Administration degree with a focus on economic development and a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies from the University of Washington. For her Master's thesis, she completed field research in Andhra Pradesh, India, entitled "Microcredit and Women's Decision-Making."
