Commitment to Water.org

"After ten years working in rural and urban communities in Brazil I have witnessed how lack of access to safe drinking water and to sanitation can negatively impact children's development, social and economic empowerment of women and an entrepreneur's ability to run a business that provides for the family and contributes to community development. But the impact of the lack of water access goes way beyond this, indirectly influencing a country's social, economic and political environment. It is a big issue and I believe that Water.org's innovative, scalable and sustainable approach is one of the most effective ways to address the water crisis. I am honored to be part of the team."
