As Senior Policy Associate, she led global microfinance and education policy and assisted on global health policy, and developed and executed strategies to influence funding and policy from the US government, IFIs, and multilateral partnerships. Commitment to Water.org
Access to safe water and the dignity of a toilet has a life-changing and life-saving impact on so many lives in so many ways. After traveling throughout Asia and Africa to visit microfinance institutions and other NGOs serving the poor, I realized how important it is that our support be country-driven and country-led so that we create an empowering and sustainable solution. I love that Water.org builds the capacity of local organizations and provides people with not just access to water and sanitation, but also with hope for a brighter, healthier future. Water.org is one of the most innovative, effective, and sustainable organizations I’ve come across in my career. I’m thrilled to share our amazing work with others and create new partnerships so that together we can accelerate the end of the water crisis.
