Morée Scofield is the strategist behind Water.org’s online media presence. She believes in the power of storytelling and testimony, thus her diligent focus on bringing to the spotlight the work and impact of Water.org. Moree is the voice and writer behind Water.org’s social media channels and digital advocacy campaigns.
Morée’s experiences serving orphaned children in China, Haiti and Mexico led her to become an active advocate for solutions to the global water and sanitation crisis. By combining these experiences with her formal education and professional background, she brings more than ten years of marketing, development, and media experience to Water.org. Her career leading up to this role consisted of marketing and promotional direction for Fortune 500 Companies, to developing her own company with a give-back program to benefit communities in need of safe water. Just prior to joining Water.org, Morée developed and directed a program for a leading non-profit youth organization that engaged adolescents to take action and help solve the water crisis.
Commitment to Water.org
“I am humbled and thrilled to help bring attention to the transformative work of Water.org through media. Combining my passion for media and digital with my passion for seeing our global family gain access to safe water contributes largely to my drive. I am blessed to have the opportunity to work with journalists, writers, and media to help tell the stories of our co-founders, the organization, and those we serve."
