Commitment to Water.org
“I have always felt strongly about the need to protect our environment and natural resources. What we pollute today, our children have to drink tomorrow. I was confronted with this “tomorrow” in Sao Paulo, Brazil, where I witnessed children living in the favelas with no source of clean water. The only water nearby was a river which the birds no longer even went near since no fish had lived in it for decades.
Water.org has given me a chance to make a difference for children similar to the ones I saw in the favelas. Water.org has a unique solution to help communities obtain safe drinking water which really works. With each community project, more lives are changed – and often, saved.”
