Water + Toilets = Opportunity

In rural parts of Assam, women are skilled at weaving cotton garments such as shawls, dresses and hand towels. Most of them weave on a small scale during their free time. With access to water and sanitation facilities in their households, more and more women are coming forward and taking up weaving as a viable income generation activity.

A special thanks to all of our donors for making these opportunities a reality.
