Here's to no more hospital trips

Since establishing a safe water point in Bayas, Haiti, Booz Jean-Michel is happy to report he no longer has to drive sick family and friends to the hospital for treatment. Now, his community enjoys safe water and better health.

Many in Booz Jean-Michel’s home of Bayas, Haiti suffered from cholera. Cholera is spread through the water people drink and the food they eat. But, if a safe water source is present, people are less likely to contract the disease. Unfortunately until recently Booz’s community did not have such a source. Because Booz had a motorcycle many asked that he rush their ill family members to the hospital.

Since Water.org helped his village establish a community hand pump, Booz is happy to report he no longer has to drive sick family and friends to the emergency room. Now, his community enjoys safe water and better health.

Please donate and make a difference with safe water. Then raise a glass with us and toast to good health and better living.
