Prianka & Nanda Walk for Water

Each morning, after Prianka and Nanda send their children to school, they begin their day-long water collection ritual. Many times each day they walk from their homes, to a community water pump, and back.

This time lapse was shot outside Nagpur, India late last year, and is presented here at twelve-times speed. From their neighboring homes and back, every trip takes nearly half an hour.

With your help, we can continue working to change this daily reality around India – a small WaterCredit loan allows women to install an in-home, safe-water tap, providing opportunity, time, and a better future.
