Commitment to Water.org
“My path to Water.org began with a fervent desire to invest my time to make a difference in the lives of others. The enormity of the water and sanitation crisis compelled me. The fact that a billion people in the world lack access to clean water seemed just plain wrong. As a mother of two young boys, I was deeply troubled by the fact that women and children are disproportionately impacted by this crisis. All of these factors drove me to apply my skills and experience to drive awareness and action at Water.org.
“Water.org inspired me for many reasons. I see how the organization is bringing to bear new tools to solve this crisis, delivering results while constantly innovating. Water.org’s focus on the underlying causes of the crisis, together with the pursuit of new ways of thinking, holds great promise. The foundation and corporate partners and inspired individuals that have come together in support of Water.org are remarkable. In joining Water.org, I can help continue the momentum that is building to address this great challenge. I am honored to be part of the talented team focused on solving this global crisis.”
