Worldwide on average it only costs $25 to bring safe water to someone for life. That's it and the problem is solved—forever.
Included in those costs are community organizing, hygiene education, geo surveys, project costs with money left over for ongoing maintenance.

Women in this region of Ethiopia walk over 2K to a hand dug well for water – and they do it twice a day. Two generations ago this region was not as arid but climate change along with extreme poverty keeps many in Tigray, Ethiopia struggling for survival.
