Fundraising Ideas for Anyone
- Living Room Event: Invite your core network of friends and colleagues and ask them to join you for an evening to learn about the work of Water.org.
- Luncheon, Breakfast, Tea Party or Dinner Party: Engage friends and colleagues in learning more about the global water crisis while also providing them a way to take action by supporting water projects.
- Themed Party: Holiday, Halloween or Valentines Day are great reasons to host a party and can make fun themed fundraisers! Charge a price for admission, sell tickets with proceeds benefiting the work of Water.org, or ask for a donation as an entrance fee.
- Wedding, Birthday or Anniversary: Water.org offers “Gifts of Water” which can be made on any occasion to honor or memorialize someone. Consider encouraging Gifts of Water in lieu of traditional gifts at your wedding, birthday, anniversary or retirement party. You can also throw a party for someone who would appreciate Gift of Water donations in lieu of gifts.
- Concert: Do you know a great band or some other kind of entertainer? Enlist their help in putting on a fundraiser for Water.org! Invite guests to make a donation, charge an entry fee or set up a donation jar to raise money for water projects.
