Summary
The Human Resources Business Partner is primarily responsible for ensuring that employees have a stimulating, rewarding and innovative place to work. Executes all HR strategy, operations and programs for the region, leveraging proven HR competencies, as well as knowledge of the local culture and employment laws of the region. The Regional HR Business Partner will work closely with and will liaise between the headquarters HR office and the Latin America offices to support a variety of areas including:
- Benefits Administration
- Compensation Program Administration
- Compliance & Safety
- Global HR Operations
- HR Systems and Data Analysis & Management
- Employee Experience & Culture
- Recruitment
- Talent Management
- Strategy and Stakeholder Engagement
The Latin America Region includes Mexico, Brazil, and Peru currently but may expand to include other countries. This position can be based in Mexico.
This role will report directly to the Sr. Manager, Human Resources.
Key Responsibilities
Recruiting & Success Planning (20%)
Administers career & succession planning processes and workflows. Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions.
Benefits Management (20%)
Manages day-to-day statutory and supplemental benefit plans programs including medical, life, and any other benefit plans.
Health, Safety and Compliance (20%)
Ensures local offices are equipped to meet national, state and/or local employment laws and regulations, as well as the organization’s global standards, policies, and procedures. Administers programs and processes related to Duty of Care and workplace safety.
Employee Relations (20%)
Investigates and proposes solutions for complex employee relations cases in liaison with line managers. Coordinates the organization's response to legal cases brought by individuals.
Performance Management (10%)
Supports the design and delivery of Performance Management and Talent Development policies and processes. Provides relevant operational and organizational analyses as well as analysis of external practices.
Learning and Development (10%)
Identifies training needs, and, in conjunction with the Learning and Development lead, may develop, design, and implement training programs. Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments.

Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in business management, Human Resources or related field and/or related industry experience.
- 6+ years of progressive experience as an HR generalist or specialist.
- Deep foundational knowledge of HR competencies and financial and operational principles.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving work environment while managing independent workload and juggling multiple priorities.
- Strong ability to build relationships cross-functionally and partner with leaders to deliver solutions that meet the business needs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems.
- Fluency in English and Spanish required. Fluency in other regional languages a plus.
Travel Requirement
Up to 10% of regional travel.
Being authorized to work in the country posted is a precondition of employment.
