The parents of newlyweds Medhih and Mesi are excited for their children to start their life together. Knowing what it takes to manage a home and start a family, they helped the young couple build their first home, and gave Medhih and Mesi the gift of safe water.

The parents took out a small, affordable loan through Water.org’s microfinance partner for a household water connection for the couple. The loan was repaid before Medhih and Mesi’s first wedding anniversary, and the value of the water connection will last many anniversaries to come.
